About the Accommodation

Small one-room apartment located on the mezzanine floor of a residential building, just 15 minutes' walk from Piazza Unità, in an elevated and sunny position, perfect to accommodate up to 3 people. Inside the flat you will find a double bed, a sofa bed that can be opened, a TV, a kitchenette equipped with dishwasher, fridge, oven, gas hob, kettle, American coffee machine, Moka coffee maker. Bathroom with waterfall marble shower and washing machine; central heating, air conditioning and wifi. Perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring around the city and the Karst, or for working in peace and quiet while enjoying a precious glimpse of the sea!

The apartment, which is entirely reserved for guests, is located on the mezzanine floor of a residential building. It is necessary to climb a flight of stairs to reach the apartment.

On your arrival you will find the beds prepared as in the photos. If you wish to sleep separately, let us know in advance! We will be happy to have all the beds ready for you free of charge!

CHECK-IN

You will be able to check in by appointment between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at our Triesteguest office at Via Rittmeyer 5b in Trieste. You will be required to show ID for each guest (ID card, passport or driver's license) and pay the tourist tax €1.50 per person per night for each guest, for the first 5 nights; minors, residents and AIRE do not pay). We will provide you with instructions on how to get to the apartment and all the information you need to enjoy your stay! Access to apartments before this time slot is subject to availability and must be arranged in advance.

For arrivals between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., check-in will be done directly at the property by appointment at a cost of €40.00 to be paid on site (plus tourist tax)

. For arrivals between 10 pm and midnight the cost will be 50.00€. Beyond midnight check-in is not possible.

DURING THE STAY

If during your stay something does not work or does not go well, report it immediately! We'll be happy to help! Remember that you are in a private building! Respect the rest hours from 9 PM to 8 AM and from 1 PM to 4 PM. In winter, do not raise the temperature above 20 °C and in summer not below 23°. Do not leave objects (suitcases, bicycles) in the common areas.

Smoking is prohibited in this house. Violators will be charged a penalty fee of 100 euros. It is forbidden to organize parties and welcome unmarked guests.

CHECK-OUT

Checkout is within 10 AM. Make sure you don't forget anything (especially cell phone chargers!), turn off the lights and all devices. Close the windows.

Don't forget to leave us a review on the portals. Your opinion is very important to us: critics encourage us to improve and compliments are always accepted! :) When you assign the stars try to be objective: if it has been raining all the time it is not our fault!

Neighbourhood

The noble district of San Vito is located on a hill in an elevated, sunny and quiet position, close to the historic city centre. Within a short distance you will find a supermarket, bank and petrol station; you can easily reach Passeggio Sant'Andrea for a pleasant, relaxing walk or jog. From here you can also take a beautiful cycle path that will take you along the banks to the station. With a 15-minute walk you can also reach Piazza Unità (remember that on the way back the road will be uphill 😊).

Transport

You can park your car free of charge on the street; as we are located in a residential area it may be a little difficult to find a space, so we recommend that you stretch towards the banks area (Campo Marzio, Covered Market). The blue parking spaces are paid for during the day, but are free from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. and on public holidays. If you want to use the bus, from Via Franca you can take line 15 to reach Piazza Goldoni and Piazza Oberdan, while going down towards the sea you can use line 8 (towards the station) or line 17 (to reach the University of Trieste).
