Checkout is within 10 AM. Make sure you don't forget anything (especially cell phone chargers!), turn off the lights and all devices. Close the windows. Don't forget to leave us a review on the portals.

Your opinion is very important to us: critics encourage us to improve and compliments are always accepted! :) When you assign the stars try to be objective: if it has been raining all the time it is not our fault!

Neighbourhood

The Piazza Garibaldi area, despite its central location, is still very rustic and old. A market frequently takes place in the square, while workers returning from work crowd into the numerous bars. All around, small shops enliven the neighbourhood. In the Pescheria da Davide, in Piazza Garibaldi, you can admire what has become an all-Triestine tradition: every day the fishmongers describe the day's products in large white brush-painted inscriptions on the windows, with witty and very funny rhymes! From Piazza Garibaldi you can easily walk to Viale XX Settembre, full of nice and historical places where you can have breakfast, such as Caffè San Marco or Lettera Viva, or go towards Piazza Goldoni and reach the elegant city centre.

Transport

Most bus lines pass between Piazza Garibaldi and Piazza Goldoni: we advise you to use public transport because the network is very extensive. From the Trieste Trasporti website you can organise all your journeys (ps: at the weekend a ticket lasts 4 hours!).

Car parking spaces are scarce, however: you can book a parking space at Parking Regina near Piazza Garibaldi (the closest), otherwise there is Parking Saba in Via della Pietà (Saba Ospedale Maggiore), on their website for great discounts and no worries!
