The apartment, which is entirely reserved for guests, is located on two floors with a flight of stairs inside. If you need sheets for the baby beds, let us know in advance, we will have them ready for you! The garage is closed, it is not available.
-> we ask our guests to close the shutters and windows when leaving the house and also in the case of bad weather (wind, storm, etc.). Any damage caused by non-observance of these rules will be charged to the guests.
-> We point out to our guests that it is not allowed to move furniture or remove objects in the flat without prior permission.
-> we ask our guests to ventilate all rooms daily, opening windows.
CHECK-IN
You can do the check in by appointment at the apartment between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.
You will be required to show ID for each guest (ID card, passport or driver's license) and pay the tourist tax (currently suspended). We will provide you with all the information you may need to enjoy your stay!
Access to apartments before this time slot is subject to availability and must be arranged in advance. For arrivals between 7 p.m. and 10 p.m., check-in will be done at a cost of €40.00 to be paid on site (plus tourist tax). For arrivals between 10 pm and midnight the cost will be 50.00€. Beyond midnight check-in is not possible.
DURING THE STAY
Our staff is on call to fix any issues during your stay that should arise, so don’t hesitate to reach out!
Remember that you are in a private building! Respect the rest hours from 9 PM to 8 AM and from 1 PM to 4 PM. In view of the European energy crisis, please do not heat the apartment above 20°C in the winter.
Smoking is forbidden. Violators will be charged a penalty fee of €100.
Do not leave bicycles and prams in the common hallway and staircase. Parties and unregistered overnight guests are not permitted.
CHECK-OUT
Checkout is within 10 AM. Please turn off air conditioning or heating, turn off lights and close windows, get off the trash bags and don’t forget your belongings (especially cell phone chargers!).
Forgotten items will be kept for 30 days and then disposed of.

La Casa al Ponte is set in a residential area dotted with small villas on the Karst plateau, which is very green and quiet. In just a few minutes on foot or by bus you can reach the centre of Aurisina, where you will find all services such as a supermarket, post office and bank. Bus numbers 43 to Sistiana and Duino, 44 and 46 to Trieste pass along the main road. The surrounding area is dotted with renowned agritourisms and the famous 'osmizze', where locals spend their free time in the company of friends eating and drinking in good company. There are also several farms in the vicinity that produce the best local wine, with renowned labels including Zidarich, Colja and Kante. Our advice is to let yourself be pampered and guided in the discovery of local flavours by the winemakers, who will know how to show you the best pairings for Vitovska, Ribolla and Teran (also known as 'the blood of the Karst'). Also very famous is the Bunker Brewery, where you can eat and drink excellent beer selected with passion and care by the managers. Behind Aurisina it is possible to organise numerous excursions on the Karst; there are also many caves, some of which can be visited. By car it is easy to reach the scenic Sentiero della Salvia and the Tiziana Weiss lookout, the beaches of Canovella, Le Ginestre, Portopiccolo and Sistiana, and of course the city of Trieste.
Free parking is possible in the free area in front of the gate for up to two cars. Please park so as not to obstruct the passage to other houses. Buses number 43 to Sistiana and Duino, 44 and 46 to Trieste run along the main road. You can organise your route on the Trieste Trasporti website! If you are a cycling enthusiast, this is the perfect place for you! It is very easy to reach the beaches and other attractions in the surroundings; along the many paths you will find breathtaking views of the sea!
