Via del Lazzaretto vecchio is an important street in the Borgo Giuseppino, running through it all the way to Piazza Unità: in fact, you only need to leave the building and simply go straight ahead to get to the heart of the center, where bars and restaurants crowd in and residents meet for an aperitif or a special dinner. But yet walking through the silence of the Habsburg-style buildings, inside which some faculties of the University of Trieste are hidden, you will come across some real gems: Spaccio Pani, a bakery opened a few months ago that prepares leavened breads and cakes with ancient grains and a lot of love; Osteria Salvagente, a very rustic and cozy fish restaurant; Trimalcione's store, an elegant fish restaurant that will win you over, until you get to the crackling Via Torino, a meeting point for all young people!
From our building you can walk to all the major attractions of the city. Thanks to the private parking space located 500 meters away, you can move even to more distant areas, such as Miramare Castle or the cool Karst, without the thought of difficult parking. If you are a bicycle lover, just a few steps away, in front of the Covered Market, there is a bike rental station (check availability on the Bicincittà website)! Finally, always within walking distance is the stop of bus line number 8, which will take you to the Flixbus train and departure station; while in Piazza Venezia is the nearest parking area for cabs.
