The studio, entirely reserved for guests, is located at the third floor of an historical and totally renovated building with a lift. There are no architectural barriers (there is only one low step at the main door).
CHECK-IN
Upon check-in, you will be required to show an identity document of all guests.
The tourist tax is € 2.00 per person per night for the first 5 nights. Minors, residents, law enforcement officers on duty are exempt. The amount is to be paid upon check-in. Self check-in is possible.
DURING THE STAY
If during your stay something does not work or does not go well, report it immediately! We'll be happy to help!
Remember that you are in a private building! Respect the rest hours from 9 PM to 8 AM and from 1 PM to 4 PM. In winter do not raise the temperature above 20 °C, and in summer not below 23°C. Do not leave objects (suitcases, bicycles) in the common areas.
Smoking is forbidden. It is forbidden to organize parties and welcome unmarked guests.
CHECK-OUT
Checkout is within 10 AM. Make sure you don't forget anything (especially cell phone chargers!), turn off the lights and all devices. Close the windows.

Cavana district includes the ancient medieval area of the city: it can be recognized by the narrow streets with names that recall the activities that once took place here (such as Via del Pane and Via del Pesce). The district has recently been redeveloped and today these streets breathe a relaxed and elegant air… very Habsburg! (Did you know that Trieste is called "Wien on the sea"?).
Just take a few steps from the apartment to be overwhelmed by Trieste's nightlife: there are countless places to have an aperitif, dinner and after dinner and you'll be spoiled for choice! Any suggestions?
Antica Ghiacceretta, Ego, Le Barettine, Al Bagatto for fish-based dinners; Al Petes and Marise for typical dishes, Di Napoli and Bianco for pizza, Urbanis and Portizza for an aperitif, Osteria dell'Antiquario for after dinner and Adoro Café for a recuperative breakfast!
The building is located on the edge of the pedestrian area of Cavana. To facilitate your arrival, we recommend parking at San Giusto Parking, located 400 meters away near the Roman Theater, or along the banks or in the surrounding area in the blue paid parking lots (free from 8pm to 8am and on public holidays).
From the station you can reach the apartment with bus lines 8, 17, 24 and 30; line 24, which stops right in front of the entrance, takes you to the Castle of San Giusto. Consult the bus timetables of Trieste Trasporti and remember that on Sunday the ticket lasts 4 hours!
At 200 meters from the entrance, towards the shores and in front of the Maritime Station, there is one of the shelters for city bikes for hire set up by the Municipality of Trieste.
